Yes. A Microsoft Copilot Studio–based internal AI assistant can receive questions and generate answers in multiple supported languages. It can search approved company knowledge and respond in the employee’s language. Multilingual support is not automatic quality assurance. Important policies, safety instructions, legal terms and specialized vocabulary still require human translation, testing and governance.
How Multilingual Internal AI Works
An employee may ask in Spanish while the approved source remains in English. The assistant can translate the query, retrieve the source and generate a Spanish response.
Microsoft explains supported languages and configuration in its Copilot Studio language-support documentation.
Generated Answers and Fixed Messages Are Different
Generated answers may be translated automatically, while welcome messages, buttons, warnings and workflow labels may require localization files.
Translation Does Not Guarantee Policy Accuracy
Legal, safety, employment and technical terminology may require approved professional translations. High-risk content should not depend solely on live translation.
Permissions Do Not Change With Language
Translation changes presentation, not authorization. Microsoft’s authentication guidance explains the identity model.
Where Maisy Fits
The AskMaisy implementation guide describes SharePoint as the governed source. The Pixeldust process includes terminology, localization, testing and ownership.
The Practical Answer
The assistant can translate the conversation. The organization must still protect the meaning.
